Hi All, I'm new to this community.
I've been watching this forum for some time now but this is my first post.

I've been granted access to a 5 Axis Deckal machining center in order to complete a project towards my final years studies. I am at the University of Technology in Pretoria and have a few questions regarding the machine.

First of all, I am looking for some sort of user guide to the Heidenheim controller fitted to the machine. I have plenty of experience using regular Fanuc controllers, but this is all new to me.

Second question is regarding comms. The university has no comms setup to the machine, so my problem is getting my programming onto the machine. What route would you guys suggest.

And thirdly, we use Siemens NX and NX CAM software, but the workshops are using Delcam. Problem now is that I wish to do my programming using NX, but I have no Post for this machine. How could I obtain such a post. I've managed to get one from Siemens, but it is in inches, and I require a metric (mm) post.

Please Help.
