    maho toolchanger help needed

    Hi,
    I have a Maho MH600 E2 mill.
I was in the process of changing tools with the toolchanger when the power went out in the shop .

    How do you reset ?

    Jim

I have a DMU-80 and on that machine you can either do a m77 from the MDI page which resets the toolchanger or you have to physically move the changer arm thru the positions to reset the machine form the control page.
    Hope that helps.

There are a couple ways to do this. Not sure of the m77 works or not with that vintage. Under the toolchanger are all of the hydraulic vavles which can be activated manually- this will allow you to move the arm and door around seperate from the actual control. If you need to get the control/ machine up and running before you do this it is possible to change around the machine constants so it thinks there is no TC and then change back when you've got everything back to normal.

What year is your machine and where are you located?
