DMG MF Twin65. How to upload/download files? Hi DMG Twin65 with Siemens 840D control. I like to know how I can upload and download files from/to machine with PC. I read the operator manual and all it shows is V24 interface. Is there any free DNC program I can use? Thanks

what is the OS for the operator panel ? if it's NT 2000 or XP you can use a USB memory stick. there is a USB port under one of the covers on the back of the console

hi, you can use edge cam or undo two screws at the back of control panel, open it and you will find few usb ports.put your memory stick into it.with windows xp or 2000 mc will istall required drivers.you will have to go to your programs selection menu(by pressing "program manager" button- place on lower part of control panell) and using soft keys(located on right side of screen) choose disk/card. rest you will figure out by yourself. any questions do not hesitate to ask. rad
