I have problem with magazin liste and tool liste.
For example: In pot 1 is toll number 500200.
In pot 2 is tool number 300500 and so on.
I can't change the name of tool, and load and unload tool from magazine to tool list. It is not alowed.
I copy tooI and magazin data on diskette and change it manualy.
pot 1 is tool number 1
pot 2 is tool number 2 and so on.
But this is a temporary solution. Maschine has Simens Sinumerik control 810d from 2002 year.
If someone knows something please help.

There are only 2 meaningful Parametres, Tool radius and length. The Toolsort should always be 120. At my machine the toollife don't work.

The only disadvantage of this is, that you can only use Toolnumbers from 1 to 24. If you have hundreds of toolholder which have always the same tool in it, the magazinelist is better than that. But if you use the tools only for the actual part and change it for the next part, than the toolist is better.

As I got the new machine, I tried to use the magazinelist like discribed in the books, but this was extremely complicated. Now I change all tools first only with the Axisbutton and the turnswitch. After that I take each tool in the spindle and change the lengthdifference to the tool before, and the new radius.
