We just got HSC 55 linear with sinumerik 840D Solutionline.
Tomorrow we will make first chips on it i cant wait for it.
It is fast i know that one.
And it looks like a beauty.

I worked on Mori Seiki 4000 DCG (4 axis) and Huron KX8Five (5 axis) but this is a beast of a machine

That control is very powerful. You have so many options on the control for programming. I really like the FN Function programming and SL Cycles. Just hate having to put Z+195 FMAX M91 in for B axis approaches over 20degrees. I have a Engraving Macro if your doesn't have an Engraving cycle.

right here is the macro's I wrote over a year ago.

this is specific to my application and setup which is milling PET molds out of 7075 aluminium.

these macros measure & mill the block to size automatically. I've changed the ext to txt u can change it back to h.

DO NOT RUN THIS ON YR MACHINE AS THE DATUM POINTS ARE OUT AND YOU WILL CRASH YR MACHINE.

USE IT FOR REFERENCE / GUIDE ONLY.
