    Inductive Sensor for MH800C NJ2/4-5791-Y22929

Our machine is down 4 days already and Maho is very slow in responding. I need the gripper open/close sensor from Pepperl + Fuchs NJ2/4-5791-Y22929. Is anybody selling it - used or new doesn't matter. We got to get the mill running.

If this is a inductive sensor then you most likely can sub it, after the obvious size requirements you need the operating voltage, whether N.O. or N.C. and sink or source, if three wire.

Is that a small rectangular prox switch? Go’s right it the gripper hand? If it’s the one I’m thinking of, its really odd in that it has two sensor faces and 2 outputs in the same switch. On out the end and one on the side.

If that’s the one I’m thinking of, I had one fail years ago. Pepperl & Fuchs down here in Australia, wouldn’t sell me one. There was no stock any way, but they claimed it was made for exclusively for Maho.

I fear that might still be the case. Putting any or all of that part number into the P & F search site, finds zero results.
