    Milling on lathe problem

Hello I wish my first post was a bit happier but unfortunatly not.
Im having problems milling a hexagonal on a Doosan Puma 300MS. I cant fint any problems in the programming or coordinates but it still removes more material on one side than the other. I've tried changing things around in the offset, geometry, wear and work registry but nothing changes other than the diameter of the part. We have crashed into to main spindle a couple of times but we recently had a repairguy here.

This is the first part of the milling process:
The hexagon is supposed to be 62mm across.

It's like when you are milling in a mill but you have set your x-zero or y-zero wrong so it's not in the middle but a bit offcenter.

I don't see anything wrong with your program ..... I think your spindle and live tool is not align with each other, try indicator live tool and spindle and see which way the turret is off.
The best way to learn is trial error.

    Cool

I managed to solve the problem, quite a stupid thing really. I had forgotten to position the tool after I changed the offsetvalue while using the same tool i.e T1010 and T1020. This is how it looked:

    T1010(DORMER 250PINNE 20MM UPPSLYTTAD 1MM I OFFSET)

Now it works like a charm.
