puma mx vs mazak integrex

hi all, we are currently looking at buying a mill turn machine and the options are mazak or doosan, can anyone comment on wats the best of these two.

We have a Mazak Integrex 300SY and everything about this machine is expensive. We have several Mazaks and Doosans both lathes and mills and for the ease of working on them I prefer the Doosan. I will grant that Mazak is a better machine. But bottom dollar at purchase and ease of working on them counts for a lot. Trust me a machine like this will get crashed they can be very complicated to program. I also prefer the Fanuc controls myself and to my knowledge Mazak only offers Mitsubishi no days. I would also look at the Mori Sieki machine prior to making a desicion. Mori has a longer warranty period and garrantees next day air parts for ten years or the part is free on any part. I know that has sold our company on the last to mills we purchased.

In my opinion nothing beats an Integrex machine. You get what you pay for. I prefer a Mitsubishi over a Fanuc any day. Their service is better then anything I've ever gotten from Fanuc and they offer parts and repair on anything they produce back to the 1970's.

Yeah right........ Have you tried getting and of the M625 hard drive software ??
Your HDD breaks down it's not a simple here's another one

To say they have every part going back to 1970's is a bit rich

Hard drives are very easy to get, here in the US anyway.
Maybe they don't have every part but at least they will try to repair if they don't. Try that with the other CNC manufacturers and see what kind of answer you get.
