| you need to really read through your programming manual on these machines prior to running a main spindle and a sub spindle. the doosan allows you to dictate with mcodes weather the main spindle or sub spindle is head one. if you think about this you reverse everything when you switch main spindle locations. i can not think of the m codes off the top of my head but i had to help my programmer get through this using the ladder to understand exactly what they were doing. i want to say look at the m68 and m69 but i may be wrong. problems also arise when sinking the two spindles if this is occuring. was this machine a turn key package because often unexperienced programmers can get this messed up. we bought a turn key twin turret twin spindle machine and when my programmer noticed in the program they were commanding a m3 and m4 for proper main spindle rotation at different points of the program and yet they always turned the proper direction. he was quite confused so once i explained how it worked to him he wrote the entire program over basing all spindle directions using the main spindle as head one. i don't know the advantage to being able to do this abd doosan is the only machine i have seen with this feature. |
