    What Machine to Buy??

    Hi,
I am thinking of purchasing my first CNC Lathe. I am considering a HAAS SL30 with live tooling or a Doosan Lynx 220LM with Live tooling. I only do small runs, and both machines are very similar price.
Can someone please shed some light?

Doosan does make a fairly decent low end machine and is pretty simple to use. There are a bunch of other brand names that you could look into as well depending on the work that you are doing. I am attachign a link to a wed site that sells used refurbished lathes, swiss machines, etc. Check it out.

Hate speech! Ouch, thethrill. Oh, well - to each his own. I ran an older Puma next to a older HL-2, and loved them both. I would buy the Daewoo, though, also.
