Sounds like the turret may not be clamped back into position properly. Might pay to have a good look around in this area.
hello,
I just started today.I am having trouble with the a puma. Most of the time when i take a cut on a bore ,that is no running true(cut 0.15 thou. per side)the turret shakes and vibrates the whole machine. The machine was crashed a few times. The turret was re-zeroed,but this time I am getting that vibration problem.
thanks

thanks, i'll defineatly give it a look over.
The turret shaft broke on our 1997/1998 model Daewoo 200, it started chattering on everything and when clamped you could move it a little, it was a known problem and Daewoo sent us a free updated replacement shaft, the original shaft had sharp corners in some grooved areas and that is where it failed, the new replacement had a radius in the same places.
check your x axis slide clamps and make sure they are not bent and that the x cross slide is not cracked.you can check if it is loose by putting a board between the turret and the z slide/waycover and lift up.if it lifts look into the clamp/cross slide
have broken a couple of turret shafts usually will not complete turret tool change because times out shaft is broken so back portion stays in place and prox does not detect turret unclamped.
doosan wanted to lower pressure from 60 bar to 40 bar
have 3 machines and no more problems
