Hey guys, our shop is looking at purchasing a Puma 12-s, mid 90's machine with the Mits 520L Control. I've hear the control is less desired than the Fanuc but are there any major issues commonly known with the Daewoo Puma 12-S or the control to watch out or look for? We are not a production shop, mainly short runs. Thanks for any info.  |

| We had a 12S for many years. It had the FAPT Fanuc control. Initially, there was a major issue with the gearbox. No oil channels to lube the bearings. We got a re-built gearbox and low and behold there were oil channels in it. Other than that the machine was mechanically solid. The Fanuc side did give us some grief tho. |
