| Need help!!! I have a Daewoo Puma 10... When I thread a shaft it has some slop in z axis and makes a poor thread (.014 slop) in Z.. On indicator.. I Need help in repairing.... I think something is loose.... sheer rings are ok (left side)... I have machine covers off TO VIEW.. I wonder if it is a problem at thrust bearings at end (left side).. Or some sort adjustment Any help will be great... machine down and I am lost. Thanks Mark |

| few options: 1: worn X axis lining (if you cut varible load chip tou will see th whole turret moving up and down). replacement of the torqite (if the spelling is right) lining is not a big deal and takes about 2 h work and one day for the glue to cure. 2. look behind the spindle. maybe the bolts that hold the head to the bed are loose. 3. bearings problem. |
