hello all this is my 1st post I quite often have vibration problems with the type of work i do on fanuc based machines just wondered if there is anyway of copying what Haas have, which is putting an m code in (m38-39) to fluctuate the speed slightly up and down from the programmed spindle speed whilst machining. is there anyway of doing this with Fanuc control Be grateful of any help |

| I spoke to Fanuc yesterday and asked them the very same question, and was told that there was no way to fluctuate spindle rpm while turning. I have had good results reducing chatter by increasing my finish allowance to a minimum of 2/3 the tool nose radius, and the usual jockeying of speeds and feeds. |
