As many of you know, I am a owner of 4 pieces of Doosan/Daewoo equipment. 3 lathes and a mill. I have had some problems, one of which I was severely ticked off about, and voiced it here on this forum. I wanted to add an update. As time goes on, we are getting happier with the machines. The problems with switches and pumps seems to be getting some attention. Last week we blew a sub spindle hydraulic seal on our 2000 SY. The unit was 2 weeks out of warranty. To my surprise, Doosan warrantied the fix and saved me over $5000.00 on a new assembly. I thought I would let everyone in the community know that Doosan really impressed me with their willingness to step up to the plate. They could have said, sorry, your warranty ran out 2 weeks ago. Anyway, thats the most current story. |

| Glad to hear that it's getting better. I have a 220a Lynx and am buying an HP5100 horizontal and a Puma 2000y I have faith in my dealer who is one of 5 tech centers for Doosan in the US. I'm delighted with my little turning center. |
