Here is how to do it:

First replace the battery in the sevro unit, it is located in the eletricalcabin in the back off the machine. It s the white box on the right side, I think you can read servo unit on it... The battery is located inside the servo unit so you have to disamble it ti change...

The battery that ive got is from Tekcell, SB-AA11 Lithium 3,6Volts size AA and can handle heat of 212F...

First unclamp the turret. You will do this by changing keeprelay parameter
    k5.4 to 0..

    Set PWE to 1
    SoftKey PMC
    softkey PMCPRM
    softkey KEEPRL

    K05 00001100

    Change to

    K05 0000 0 100 to unclamp turret..

    Manually index tool 1...

CHange keeprl 5.4 back to clamp turret...

Now it is time to set the encoder zero-pont. just follow the attached docs to achive this... It is done on the servo unit....

Hope this will help you out... It works for PUMA 300 MB from year 2001/02 or something...

Edit: You may try to set the zero point without changing battery, The servo might just been bored too..(Happend once to me)..

    Smile Fix to alarm 2047

I actually had this alarm happen to me as well. I pulled off the rear back cover of the turret and there is a proximity switch back there that has yellow led usually or green. Stick your screw driver in between the switch and the contact. Move the tool position on the control at least a few tools away from where you are stuck. Then hit index button and quickly pull your screw driver out. Sometimes you might need two people depending the distance from proximity and the control. This will reset and turret will lock back in place.

    Worked for me.

    Hi,

M-man your steps is OK i did this before many times, but i prefer to press the EMG button, so the turret is free to index manually instead of changing Keep relay
