    tailstock won't extend

We have a daewoo puma 12L with a fanuc otb control. A couple weeks ago I had to dump the parameters and reinstall cause of shutdown while sending programs from pc. Everything seemed to be working as it was, but today I tried to use the tailstock and the center wouldn't extend. It's not programmable, has the pedal for extending and retracting. Diag. parameter 302 I think has something to do with it I set 0, 1, and 4 bit to 1 with no success. Also what parameter switches the control to read neg when going towards the chuck to work shift zero. Thanks for the help.
