DAEWOO 240 MS I thought I had my overload alarms set correctly for overnight operation. but now machine stops at a drill (1/2 carbide in 6061) and broken tool alarm pops up. machine stops at end of the drilled hole.(after drilled to depth in sub spindle) this is how I set alarms. run machine on auto and record loads. edit out the tool loads I don't want to monitor I have been letting the alarm and break set at factory 5 and 10 percent. I run it overnight anyway but the ability to recognize a broken tool is just another safety valve. I monitor the load of the sub spindle and the z axis load on that tool. bad dog |
