| Ok I have been on the phone with Fanuc. The battery pack had died wiping out the whole memory. I have reinstalled the parameters. Unfortunately I did not have these backed up on disc but had the origianl setting from the factory on paper. Not all the parameters got wiped out but some are different then what is listed on the paper. Mostly they were parameters 8100 thru 8266. Beside the parameter's on paper in the remark column it says, Auto Set Value. Should I leave these alone to what they are or change them to what is on the paper. Also, the letters on the keypad are now not working but the numbers on it are. Thanks for the help you guys have given me so far, and thanks for anything further. |

| Check the parameter 0038 for bit 3 (fourth bit from R.H. side) , this is set for full keyboard, and may be the one you are missing. Do you have the Parameter Manual? Al.

| Thanks Al for that parameter, it worked. Breathing a little easier. Now I have a new problem. I am getting a alarm on the machine now after I have entered the parameters. Not sure if it is a parameter problem or not but I was not getting it this alarm before my problems with the parameters. Alarm #16 Cause of Trouble (According to book) *Counter Meaure A) Lubrication oil in the tank leaks *Fill Lubrication oil in the tank B) Trouble of level switch to sense *Check the level switch and repair. lubrication oil level Oil level is good, could it be the switch or maybe a parameter? Like I said I was not getting this alarm until I had the problems with losing the parameters! Last edited by cncmike92; 06-11-2006 at 12:33 PM. |

| That looks like an operator alarm rather than system alarm, the if you know the input of the level switch, then you can look it up on the diagnostic screen for the I/O. Better still if you have the ladder diagram you can see the whole rung if you display the latdder on screen. Al.

| The Daewoo machines need to see the pressure build up and also see the pressure drop within a certain time or they give a lube alarm. If the machine has not been serviced, or been standing, and the lube tank is full, 1 or more of the flowunits could be jammed opened or shut. Open will not let pressure build, shut will not let the pressure drop correctly. Alan B |

| Ok the alarms all are cleared. Still having a issue with parameters though. Whatever speed value I input actually triples on the monitor. EG: G97 S500 MO3 actually runs 1500. If anyone has the answer for this it would be helpful. What would really be nice is if someone has the parameter book for this OT-C control on the computer in *.pdf format and would be willing to share it. Thanks for all the help so far. |
