HOW DO I RUN A PROGRAM OFF THE COMPUTER

Im not sure this is the correct forum but
i have a super huge program that will not fit into the machine
ive worked at places where they run programs off the computer but i dont know how, can anyone explain how i do this?

Super Huge? must be about 5Gig?

Programs can be run from USB mem sticks if the mem stick is big enough to install the program.

How come you don't buy another harddrive and use it as a slave?

unfortunatley the control dosent have a usb drive,
and about the harddrive,
that would make sense, if it makes sense my company doesnt do it

Post the control model ( fanuc o, 18 etc)
And if you have TAPE mode on the panel.

Sounds like you want to DNC or perhaps use a Greco Greco Systems USB Minifile, Greco Box

its a doosan dnm 400 actually
fanuc i series control is all it says
no tape button

If i series, it should have a card slot next to the screen. If it does, you can DNC from the card, however without a tape button, i'm not sure any DNC would work. Might want to pose this question in the Fanuc forum. Take a picture of the operator panel and post that as well. Sometimes the button is there, just has a symbol or some other abbreviation.
