Fanuc 18i-TB Alarm 2102

This seems to be only be a problem once every 1-2 weeks, when the machine is first started for the day it will produce 2102 TURRET CONTROL UNIT ALARM. CHECK SERVO UNIT IN CO
The vision unit shows PRO- CF, I have noticed that when all works fine the screen will show all zero's.
It will go away after I have turned the machine off and on every 10-12 mins for about 1 hour.

Ok, I have it workin.

If this alarm appears, this is how I fixed it.
With the machine turned off put a wrench on 1 of the live tools and give it a sight turn. seems there was a limit switch not making contact.
Hope this helps somebody out there!!

I know its a few months old but if you have to do that then poss the spindle orintation of the live tooling is not spot on.To test remove the live tool and then tell system to spin the live tool any speed say 300rpm.Then get it to stop say "m5" this should cause it to stop and also orintate.Now look into the hole and you should see a slot of the live tool drive dog.This should be inline with the tool guide if it is then good if not you will need to adjust Parameter (normally) 4077 s1.Adjust the figure by say 100 units and see which way it moved then readjust to get it lined up perfectly. And you should not get that alarm again.

This Alarm has come back, The servo control unit in the back of the machine has a display, it normally reads 0000 when all is working well. Now when the Alarm 2102 shows up on the control screen on the oprator panel, the Servo control in the back reads Pro-CE "the E has the top sagment missing tho". Has anyone have this problem and fix it?
I called Doosan in Toronto and they have no clue what this servo unit display issue is

Has anyone seem this problem, I cant seem to figure it out. I start the machine and it works sometimes, then start the machine other days and it just comes up with alarm 2102. I wait for 15-20 mins. and try again an it will work. other days seem worst.

Ivé had a similar problem with my promotion unit. It generated the same alarm that you got but i have a MX2500ST.
The solution to my problem was that the internal battery of the promotion unit had run dry. Try changing it on yours.
