Exclamation M30 did NOT stop machine operation.

Here is a link the the thread that took our operator by surprise almost causing a serious injury. I'm posting this here so as a reminder to all, including teachers, about teaching safety and being aware of how a machine may not operate as expected.

In summary, the machines panel has a switch that overrides the expected M30 end of program function. The M30 normally stops the programs execution, but the switch setting caused it to restart the machine automatically.

IMO there is something wrong. Any good builder would have both door interlocks and a set up ready button on a horizontal. Both conditions would need to be met before continuous operation.

Post #4 & #5 in the original thread tend to think that there might be something wrong with the door interlocks. So maybe my issue isn't really solved yet.

I'd disable that switch, might save a life & a huge lawsuit.
