    88 puma 6 or 10

i have a friend that has both a 1988 puma 6 and a 1988 puma 10. the puma 6 runs just fine and the 10 needs a new motor. what would be a good price for either of these machines? obviously i could pick up the puma 10 cheaper because it needs a little bit of work and money out of pocket to get it running. so, is it easy to find parts for a 22 year old machine?

what does it take to program one of these? i have bobcad now, so is it something as simple writing a g code like i do for haas vf-3? or is it more conversational?

both machines were solid and state of the art in their time. if they have fanuc controls then the motors will be available. Some mechanical parts for these machines can take a while to get. Again if a fanuc they will be g-code and no conversational. I have only seen a few daewoos with a mitsubishi control.
