    Turret Parts

    Hello all,

I have been having some accuracy issues with my PUMA 8HC-3A and decided to look at the turret as it seemd to fall over when disengaging to rotate to a different possiton. Imagine my dismay when I got it all apart and found corrosion in the pline that the turret mounts onto. I am now at a loss does anyone know of a possible source for a new shaft and the matting plate that bolts into the turret? I am talking to the local CNC Dealer but his documents do not go that far back and I am guessing that this may be a dead end. Anyone out there that can remanufacture these for me?
    Thanks

According to my manual for a P8HC

DRIVESHAFT = L06500063A (this may or may not be correct revision)

double check by looking in your parts manual

Or ask the US Doosan Technical Center
    DOOSAN WEB SITE

Provide them with the machine serial number
    It should start P8HC----

    Thanks for the info.
Just got back from talking with the guys at CNC Machine Services and have decided to stay with the current shaft and draw flange. Going to reset the Curvic coupling with new taper pins after touching up the holes with a reamer. Only half of the alignnment pins were actualy in the machine. Goint to use bearing retaining compound to reduce the play between the draw flange and shaft and replace all the seals. Then just assemble correctly and it should be good to go. These used machines always seem to have a new surprise around the corner.
