Daewoo won't hold +-.002

We have a 1995 Daewoo Puma 6s with the o control. The operator gets the machine dialed in and all is OK. After the machine sets for a while, the X dimension has gone down by .002. No change in the digital read out. After that the operator chases the numbers but is unable to make a part in tolerance.
