    G600

    My first post of probably many. I run a Doosan horizontal mill with a Fanuc 18i control. One of the programs from a previous programmer had a G600 call. All I know about it is it's a canned cycle or macro for single point threading. Any more info on it, like how it works, what values are needed to program it etc would be appreciated.

    What model Doosan is it?

    Could it be a macro that he wrote and assigned G600 to call it? Check parameters 6050 to 6059 and see if one of them has a 600 in it. Just curious.

    6050 = G code that calls macro program O9010
    ...
    ...
    6059 = G code that calls macro program O9019

    The model is HP 5100. I think you are right that it is a custom written macro and assigned G600. I thought it was a Fanuc macro.

    Can you post the macro here? Maybe we can help figure it out.
