Enclosure light not working - Puma 230ms

Hi,


We have an issue on our Puma 230MS with our enclosure light, it will not turn on. I took it apart today with a new bulb in hand but got no light from it when changed. I checked the wires with a voltmeter and still no power. I opened up the raceway up top and checked there as well at a splice - still no power.


My question is, where do I check next? I did take the bulb to our electrical department and its good. I am by no means an expert with anything electrical - but I am pretty capable if you can point me in the right direction. It worked up until a few months ago when we had the enclosure removed and the spindle rebuilt. Since then it has been unresponsive.

Look at the electrical print to determine the source of the voltage. Check first for voltage at the source, if it is present turn the machine off, and Ohm check the cable to the fixture.

Good info. Also check schematic for relay and I/O function.
