You are going to hate yourself for that. Those machines suck bad for chip extraction. Although, they are really nice for filling up the coolant tank with chips...Please tell us you got the conveyer...

If you are doing lots of large tool heavy milling then the Doosan is great - far more rigid than the Haas.

the memory sucks though - I think they have only 250 or 400k (I believe it isn't even half an old floppy disc)? I really like the haas control a lot more.

PHX is right - the Doosan's are really loud. The one I was on was a super heavy oiler also. It was always nice coming in to a table covered in spindle oil.

But they are workhorses. We hadn't had any spindle issues - perhaps because of the heavy oiling it received, and the owner was very afraid to run it at 12k...
