Hi there. This is my first post and I’m having trouble sending job to my Nisshinbo HTP 650. I have a MAP 500 that is configured and works great with easy DNC. But when I try to send a job to the HTP 650 the “Stand By” just starts flashing which leads me to believe that my program is not formatted properly. Could my Start and Stop strings be incorrect? The Start string for the HTP 650 is 018\013\10 and the End string is %\13\10\20. It also has a Line string of 13\10. I’m getting these settings from an old version of Predator DNC(that can properly send jobs to the HTP 650) and trying to get them to work from my new work station which has easy DNC on it. There is also an Ignore After % box. In easy DNC I’ve entered 18 in the start box and 20 in the end box. I’ve also tried inserting a blank line directly into the top of the file. Which is basically what 13 10 means right? I have also tried to mess with the BlockEnd to CRLF, CR, etc. to no avail. I send the job and the “Stand By” on the screen starts flashing. Like it’s received something but can’t properly read it. Anything anyone could suggest would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
If your controller is a PAL-500T or PAL-510T the program must be in this format. Make sure your baud, data bits, etc are set to match the machine controller. I send to 2 HTP 100's that should have the same controller as your machine. In the controller I use Speed 19200, Length 8, parity even, stop bit 1. With these settings I have sent programs using 4 different communication programs and they were received properly.
