Siemens 802 controller?

any one have any exp with the siemens controllers? I am looking at the 802C for sl1 retrofit .

Any thoughts or advice appreciated

Hello panaceabea,

Have you considered going from the older 802C to the new 802D. It is a direct replacement and should cost much less with better functionallity.

Our company specialize in Siemens CNC equipment and have done a number of retrofit jobs in the past. I am not sure where you are located, if it might be a possibility to help you out.

From what I know it would be a simple price effective swap to go from the 802C to the 802D.
