Hi All, I am about to receive a Presario 1200 Laptop with Windows 98 installed. It does have a parallel port, USB 1.1, CD Drive - reader only, a serial port and a wireless router installed into a PCMCIA port. All software is included. Installed memory is 2 gigabytes. The hard drive is adequate for Mach 3 and most other things needed. I think it's about 5 gigabytes. The big question is: Has anyone used this Laptop with their CNC Machine? If so, how did it handle? My system will be 3-axis using the new little Geckos. Thanks for any help, Al |
