Hi, Anybody can help me with AMADA LCE 655 machine? I got one but the CAM station is not working properly. It seems to generate the wrong G-code for my controller (FANUC OL). It generate a call to non-existent one. I don't know if I did anything wrong. Suggestion/manual or replacement software will be very appreciated. |

| I have the same machine and I run BobCad software, works pretty good, but there are a few things I have to change within the programming, for example, between cuts, it will input G00Z1. but I have to go to EDIT, then FIND AND REPLACE all G00Z1. with M61 There are a few things that I'm sure they would create a post to fix all these little things; I just got used to doing it manually |

We have an Amada Lasmac 667ll. It appears to be identical to the 655. We have th OL controller as well, and the resonator is a PRC 1501A, boosted to 2K. We just purchased Metalix cncKad, which I've used for over seven years, elsewhere, and am its biggest fan. The driver for the 667ll would not work, because our machine appears to be not what it says it is, but they had supplied a series of drivers for other machines and lo and behold, the 655 old style driver had us running in short order. If you are willing to invest in no more frustration, I highly recommend cncKad, by Metalix. I am finalizing the post processor modifications for the 655, and if you decided to go that route, you are welcome to have my modified post processor. But, those will be available to the public thru Metalix, anyway. Here's a few lines of code: O128 (CODE-TEST2_SS) (*IMODEL LCE655_O NONE ) (SHEETS 1) (PARTS 3, 3 X 1) (*DFT C:\AU_METALIX_DWGS\LASER_TESTS\CODE-TEST2_SS.ENC ) (PART SIZE: 12.000 X 12.000 ) (DATE SEP 13 2008 ) (*SHEET 48.000 16.000 0.047 ) (MAT Stainless 0.047 ) (*CLAMPS 8.0 32.0) G92 X72.0000 Y60.0000 Z9.850 G93Z0.047 G65 P9101 Z3.000 G00X10.8644Y14.6064 G65 P9100 S1000 H90 B250 C35 I65 J1 W1000 Q90 T2000 U100 I65 J0.5 M98 P100 F120 G01X10.7719Y14.6319 G02I0.4781 J-0.1319 G02X10.7807Y14.6603I0.4781 J-0.1319 M61 ............... There are more features and things you can do with this software than one can imagine. Good luck, Mitch |
