Hi I am new here, this is my first post I am working on a vertical OM borer with a Fanuc controller, we are using Windows Hyperterminal to transfer files using a null modem cable to the RS232 port on the machine, this isn't a problem and works well. The problem is when we need to send the program from Fanuc to PC, no matter what we try, we end up we a file that has the little square control character and then a extra line after every line of code. this means it has to be deleted by hand, what a pain. Does anyone know how to set up Hyperterminal to fix this problem. Thanks Peter |

| After starting and connecting with Hyperterminal, go to "File" "Properties", then click on the "Settings" tab next to "Connect to", and towards the bottom of the window click on "Ascii Setup", and make sure "Append line feeds to incoming line ends" is NOT checked. |
