    My port 3.3 to 5V?

My parallel port is putting out 3.33v instead of 5v. My board and steppers are dying here, i NEED to mill something!
Ive done some research and found (LPT-Buffer it has data sheet too) but nothing else. Any ideas. How did you overcome it?

    Using TB6560 3 axis w/ 24v input, nema 23's, XP SP3.

    Just what U need?

Yes, I guess that device will solve your problem as far as U don't load it with more current than the USB-port and this device are able to deliver, 24 mA may be the limit here as stated in the specification.
This means it's just intended to support the low level communication interface and nothing else like "boards and steppers" but I suppose this is not your intention!
    ;-)

    Hi jrsaw27
    yes it will work
this is what used as my PC had no parallel port so had to add a pci parallel card then found out because you are unable to select the ECP setting in the Bois it would only output 3v.
works fine on my Gecko G540
