G Code to DIY CNC software

Im not new to machining, at our shop I manually input G Code, no problem. I decided to go hame and build my own CNC router set up, just about finished how ever with a DIY setup what do YOU use to interface or input gcode to machine. I cant get a machine specific software package because its three NEMA 17 steppers, and a router on a home made base with a TM6560 driver board via parallel cable. DIY. what is the best way to manually input G Code from notepad into my machine?
