hello, i am very new to all things CNC, so i would like someone to give me some idea , if this spec is OK, for to built my first machine. i hope to engrave wood , some soft , some hard, i want a work area of 24'' x 18''. i want to start buying in some parts , so i am starting with the computer, would this computer that is for sale , be good enough to fit the purpose ? PENTIUM 4, 2.8 GHZ. 1024 MB MEMORY, 40 GB HARD DRIVE, 17'' FLAT SCREEN. COMES WITH WINDOWS XP PRO. could anyone tell me is there anything else, that i need to buy , with this kit , if it is suitable ? i would greatly appreciate any advise , that anyone could give me , the computer is going for 130 pounds, if it seems pricey in america, i am not over concerned , as long as the computer is the right spec. my name is paul, i live in belfast, ireland.
