Ucancam V8

Hi..

i am having troubles setting the Z axis.
I bought a REDSAIL CNC RS 1312, and came with UCANCAM v8 software.
I read all the manual and i made my design, but wene i output the CNC starts working, but the Z axis is allways Up and doesnt touches the pice of wood im trying to cut.
Can some one that uses this software can help me ?

Did you manage to sort your problem with the z axis?

I'm considering in purchasing the same RS-1312 CNC Router. Would you recommend it?

I have found that the best way to set the Z axis depth is to apply an offset with Z 0.000 at the point where the tool tip just touches the top of the work piece.
