Just bought a 2000 Fadal. The control panel/box has a ZIP drive. My machinist is use to running machines with PCs connected through the RS 232 port. I'm not set up with software to use that method. Can anyone tell me how to use the ZIP drive? He has the program loaded on the disk in txt and nc formats. The drive light turns on after inserting the disk, but then nothing. Is there a command needed to be input on the keyboard to initiate, or maybe specific lead-in code needed in front of the program code on the ZIP disk?
