    To use breakers or not?

Hi I am building a control box for a new machine which is 48 x 72 . The power supplies are (3) 300 watt (68 vdc) and (1) 300 watt (42 vdc) leadshine and the motors are 6 amps bipolar. Should I have breakers on each circuit. The drivers and power supplies have built in over and under current protection. I could put them in no problem but I notice many setups dont use them. I was going to have a breaker on the 24 volt transformer which powers the control board.

    Thanks for any help!

Some drives (gecko) tell you not to fuse the drive itself, while others (probotix) tell you to do so. I'd follow the manufacturer's advice for the drives you go with.

Oh Ok thanks..I will contact the manufacturer as the documentation doesn't say. They are the Kellig type drivers.
