Bobinette,

For safety reasons the preference is N.C., that way if a wire ever breaks it will trigger a limit condition.

Post a diagram of how you have the switches attached to the Hobby CNC Board.

On the board I have the E Stop connected to pin 15, probe to pin 13, limit switch to pin 13 and home and limit switch to pin 11 and the second wires of each of these leads to the COM pin.
Hope this gives you an idea.
Thank you for your time

Question

Did you configure the limit and home pins in Mach3?

Yes they are, mean time I went to Mach3 tutorial and might found something, can you give your opinion if I should use a resistor on one of the leads, this is the URL http://www.machsupport.com/docs/Mach...all_Config.pdf on page 43.

When I shut down the controller I manage to shut the alarms off by putting the switches at active high in Mach3 but as soon as I turn on the controller, I can't shut them off, I have tested if there was any resistence on the leads 11 and 12 and get about 3.5 ohms on 13 and 15 nothing

Question

Isn't there a resistor network part # RN4 on the Hobby CNC Pro?

Do you have a instant messenger?

Can you take a digital picture of your board?
