Hi everyone, Im looking for a opensource desing of driver that controls a stepper motor without a pc, and that shows me and make me able to set up the rpm of the motor... Have anyone seen something like that... My knowledge on electronics its basic, im not able to design my own board... Thats why I wanted something ready... Thanks |

| how many amps, and how many volts does your stepper need? Just one direction? Simplest is a decade counter IC with a 555 timer and four power transistors. The rpm is controlled though a variable resister in the R/C circuit that induces pulses out of the 555. The square wave signal from the 555 timer IC controls the decade counter, and the decade counter controls the power transistors. |

| The motor will be 3v 3A, it doesnt matter if will be unipolar or bipolar... I would prefer if it would spind CW and CCW, but just one direcion it will still work for me I wanted the display like that you could set the rpm of the stepper.... Like from 0 to 800 RPM would be ok... Actually im thinking that it doesnt need to be a stepper... If there is any other motor that make this more simple... It could be other motor ( I dunno what kind, can you please tell me ) I just want a motor that i will set on like lets say 500 rpm, and this rotation doesnt change, even if forces or loads are aplied to this motor... Thanks |
