I have a 2-axis gantry with three servos, two of them drive the y axis. The question is can i drive two Amps using one signal and still keep them synchronized? the card is a GALIL 1822 driving AD SURESERVO amps using Pulse+Direction Thanks very much...    |

| The amps will do all they can to stay in position up to the set amount of following error programmed into them. This is true using one drive also. The thing to check is the input impediance of the amps to see if the Galil can can provide enough current for two in parrellel. Darek |

| How are you closing the loop with these amps? Why go step/dir servo's with Galil? I would have thought the best way is to use analogue amps PID loop , spring for an extra axis upgrade and use the gearing command for synchronization. Al.
