I am trying to install the Galil 1740 controller card. Have installed the ocx's terminal and all the other utilities I need and registered them so they can be used in vb but when I try to install driver for the card I get the following message: There was a problem installing this hardware: Galil Motion Control DMC1740 An error occured during the installation of this device: The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor. I have tried the v7 drivers as well as earlier ones and the effect is always the same. I have tried uninstalling the card in Device Manager as well as pulling it out all together and then installing it back after bootup for a clean install, still the same story. Have anyone seen this problem or heard of solution to it? Galil seems quite slow with reply to my emails. Thanks.    |
