| www.rogersmachine.net. Not true closed loop, but it will monitor potion and notify mach3 to stop if an error occurs. I don't know of any true closed loop DIY stepper systems.

| Atleast one person has done it with emc2.. (using encoders to trip a following error realtime.) (I don't have a bob solution.. I think he hooked them directly into the printer port.) Some light reading... EMC2 + Steppers + Encoders = following error detection (so far) :) http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emc..._With_Encoders EMC+closed loop? and as always.. http://www.linuxcnc.org/ http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emc...cKnowledgeBase |
