Exclamation Anilam 5000 Motion Control Card Fault

Hi,

We have a mega mill using the Anilam 5000 control with a 4 axis motion control card. A few days ago while running a cycle the machine spindle and the light switched off and then back on almost instantaneously. We ignored it at first since it did not do it again for a few days but now it does it every few minutes.

On the control we switched the two I/O cards (the small ones that cables can0 and can1 connect to) and ran the cycle again, the problem persisted. The machine has a varispeed drive on the spindle and running it manually poses no problems at all, the fact that the light also switches off indicates that it must come from the control since it switches the light's relay on and off.

There are only two more places I think the problem could be, either the main PC card that has the processor and memory on it or the main motion control board next to the pc card. Problem is the manufacturer will sell us either one but if it is the wrong one they will not take the card back and they are relatively expensive. Has anyone else had a problem like this with this type of motion control card? It would be a great help!
