AMC current monitor to Galil card

My advanced motiopn control amps have a current monitor output. Here's clips from the data sheet on a B30A40amp:

CURR MONITOR OUT
Current Monitor. Analog output signal proportional to the actual current output. Scaling is 4.2 A/V by default but may be reduced to half this value by setting DIP switch SW1-3 to OFF (see Hardware Settings section below). Measure relative to signal ground.


Maximum Peak Output Current1 30A
Maximum Continuous Output Current 15A

My Galil 1900 board to an DMC18X0 card has analog inputs of 0 - 10 volt.

My question, are these directly compatable, just hook the monitor output to the galil analog input?

It should be compatible, set S1-3 on initially to scale it down, you will also need a common from Galil to AMC if it is not already there.
The input impedance of the Galil Analogue is usually ~10k so the AMC should not load it up.
