    New gearing command for Galil

For anyone implementing the threading command using the gearing command, the geared-to axis (spindle) is usually rotating at high rpm, so when you engage the Z axis to the spindle there is a high following error/motor current until it catches up, Galil have a command GD for later firmware versions that eliminates the high current.

So, Al, is that the magic bullet that's going to make lathe threading work easy peasy now?
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

    Not really
It just prevents the rocket take off when the gear is engaged.
