Controller recommendation

I'm starting a retrofit of a 3 axis mill (Fryer MB14) and looking for controller suggestions. Servos are Fanuc SL series and mostly installed now. Currently my controller front runner is kflop + kanalog, since it has the right mix of IO and the architecture is familiar. Any suggestions for controllers that may offer other/better features at the roughly similar price point?
