Hitachi seiki seikos III

I have Hitachi seiki with a seikos II control that has just been reassembled after having the ways ground. Everything was going well, all axises moved and zeroed fine. I don't know what happened, but now my b-axis will not move. and anytime that I try anything in MDI i get an (Auto can not start warning) The controll gives me a 721 (#001) alarm. The book says thats (pause signal (*sp) =0) I have no clue what this means, or how to get past this. Any ideas would be a great help!
