When I open any site the screen is only filling part of my desktop. I can click on the max button any it fills the screen. My question is there a setting that I can set so that anything I open will fill the screen?

Usually if you maximize the screen once you open it and then go to file, exit, once you open an internet window again it should default back to full screen.

Right click on the iconm you use to open the program. Click Properties. Then where it says Run, select Maximized. Will open full screen then

I can maximizm it but when I go back to the same program, it is small again.
I do not see run when I right click on the icon. I am using Windows XP. When I click on this site from my email it comes up full size. But when I click on the site on my desktop it comes up small.

Sorry, its under the shortcut tab

Right click on Icon, properties then click the shortcut tab at top, then you will see run it has a drop down menu, that will have Minimized, Normal and Maximized.

I do not have this, there is no shortcut tab, Just general and web document.

1) Close all your Internet Explorer browser windows.

2) Open Internet Explorer, maximize the window, close it.

3) Try your link on the desktop.

Internet Explorer, works off the first browser that is open.

So If I have my first browser window open 1/2 screen, then I close that window, that's the same way the window will open the next time I open it again (window 1,2,3, etc...)

The same is true If I have my first window maximized, then I close that first window, open another window & it will be maximized.

The Internet explorer is maximizm. All others are not. Yes it is Xp Media center edition.

If I go too internet explorer then click favorities and then click on a site I want to look at, like this one. The site is full screen. But if I make a short cut to desktop and click on the Icon, the site will open very small, not full screen. I can maxinize it and the size will increase however when I go back to the site using the icon, the site will be small again.

Open the program.

Maximize the Window

In the TRAY at the bottom of the screen click the program several times to minimize it to the tray (NOT THE MINIMIZE on the top right of the Window).

Close the program.

Open the program and viola it will be maximized.
